Gestas nr. 2 continues the action of the first gesture. Fragments of the torn wax head covering are glued together into a new, markedly altered form. It is suspended above casts of the artist’s face inside a glass and wooden structure resembling a sarcophagus. The work expresses the idea that the ego must die.
